The first argument to have when the government proposes something should be, where did we give you the right to do this in the Constitution? If it's not in there, then the argument is over. We need to stop arguing about the merits of things that are outside the scope of federal power in the first place.
The Star Spangled Banner is intended to make you feel the feeling of patriotism. It's unique among national anthems. Just like America is unique and special among countries. Americans should be proud of their country instead of only dwelling on America's problems. The bad does not overshadow or outweigh the good.
As the information comes out that aliens are real, people are going to try to use this event to convince people that God doesn't exist. Don't fall for it.

Madison thought that being in a large republic with many different kinds of people would prevent a faction from taking control of the government. Well, there is a faction in DC that has taken control of DC and they care more about their own power than us, their political parties, or the country.

After Trump's assassination attempt, people were talking about civil war if he had been killed. I see it a lot of it online in comments. It is complete madness and will only result in a complete loss of our liberties or destruction of our country. People need to stop talking about it.
